Giberson-Science and Religion Peace Talks Remain Controversial

Giberson focuses his article on the current efforts of the Vatican to reconcile the debates between science and religion. In particular, Giberson highlights the comments of an atheist biologist who takes particular offense to the usage of Thomas Aquinas as a paragon for religious and scientific reconciliation. However, Giberson points out that Aquinas, as well as other well known scientists (like Newton or Kepler) were able to find an interpretation of religion that fit with their views of the natural world.
